Lao Foreign Minister to Begin Official Visit to Cambodia Next Week

Phnom Penh: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Saleumxay Kommasith, will lead a delegation to pay an official visit and to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat (AMM Retreat) in the Kingdom of Cambodia from the 15th to the 17th of February 2022.

According to a press release issued on February 13, 2022 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia said that Saleumxay Kommasith will pay a courtesy call on His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia at the Royal Palace. He will also pay a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and hold a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields as well as regional and and international issues of common interest and common concerns.

Saleumxay Kommasith’s visit to Cambodia will further promote and deepen the existing good relations and cooperation, traditional friendship, and brotherhood between Cambodia and Lao PDR to a new level for the mutual benefits of the two countries.
